Ramapo’s first-ever Hackathon is a beginner-friendly, innovation-focused event bringing together college and high school students for a full day of collaboration, creativity, and hands-on learning. Centered around the theme “AI Integrations: Improving Everyday Life,” participants will work in teams to design and build projects that use artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems and enhance daily experiences, from productivity and education to accessibility, security, and social impact. With support from mentors and workshops throughout the event, students of all experience levels are encouraged to learn, experiment, and innovate in a welcoming environment. The event features a $1,000 prize pool along with additional gifts, merchandise, and sponsored swag, with projects judged on creativity, technical implementation, impact, and presentation.
